CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
(Applicable to Assisted Income Tax Return Filing Services)
1. Scope of Services
We provide assisted Income Tax Return (ITR) filing services, wherein our tax professionals review client documents, compute tax liability, and assist in filing returns on the Income Tax Department portal. These services involve professional expertise and time-bound work and are treated as non-tangible professional services.
2. Commencement of Service
Our services are deemed to have commenced immediately upon successful payment, as professional resources are allocated and preliminary review may begin, even if documents are submitted at a later stage.
3. Cancellation by Client
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email or through our official support channel. Verbal or informal requests shall not be considered valid.
4. Refund Policy
Due to the nature of assisted professional services, refunds shall be governed as follows:
- Duplicate or excess payment – 100% refund
- Payment made but service not assigned to a professional – Up to 50% refund, at our discretion
- Service assigned or document review initiated – No refund
- ITR filed or filing attempted – No refund
- Client fails to provide documents or information – No refund
5. Non-Refundable Cases
No refund shall be issued in the following situations:
- Incorrect, incomplete, or misleading information provided by the client
- Delay or non-cooperation by the client
- Change of mind after payment
- Rejection, defect notice, scrutiny, or demand raised by the Income Tax Department
- Delay or technical issues on the Income Tax Department portal
- Client dissatisfaction where service has been delivered as per agreed scope
6. Refund Processing (If Approved)
Approved refunds shall be processed within 7–10 working days and credited to the original mode of payment. Payment gateway or bank charges, if any, shall be deducted.
7. Government Fees & Third-Party Charges
Any government fees, taxes, penalties, interest, or third-party charges paid on behalf of the client are non-refundable.
8. Jurisdiction & Governing Law
This policy shall be governed by the laws of India. All disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at [Your City / State].
